Job Description

  • Contract hours 35 hours/week (7 hours a day)
  • Normal office hours Monday to Friday
  • Location: Cambridge, UK (central)

Job Responsibilities:

International Customer Service and Partner Liaison:

  • Liaising incoming emails and calls in a timely, attentive and professional manner
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication with our international partners
  • Assist customers through the teacher training application process and ensuring maximum efficiency to secure a continuous flow of business
  • Work on customer satisfaction building by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives when problems may arise; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions via our CRM, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Go the extra mile to ensure both provider and client satisfaction
  • Help to meet the company business goals and sales targets
  • Help with other required tasks

Other duties:

Marketing:

  • Supporting the Marketing and Communications Officer with social media and communications weekly and monthly initiatives as required
  • Helping to create new content for our websites and updating databases and key website content as required
  • Assisting with market research and product development as required
  • Help with other required tasks

Administration and Accounts support:

  • Creating and processing invoices in Xero as required
  • Assisting with the processing of paid invoices
  • Following up payments with our providers
  • Keeping the relevant databases up to date
  • Help with other required tasks

Anything else?

As you’d expect, we’d like someone who is punctual and friendly who can complete tasks efficiently and on time. Sometimes we get very busy, so we need someone who can bring lots of energy and enthusiasm.

Experience in these areas would be a great start:

  • Some customer service and admin experience
  • Good knowledge of email and Microsoft Office
  • Good knowledge of Gmail and WordPress
  • Blogging and social media

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree (in a relevant subject such as Marketing, Communication and Media Studies, etc.)
  • Any other qualifications that you may consider relevant to the job
